How to Attach Dangles to a Chainmail Bracelet
Chainmail is a series of interlocking metal rings used in making armor and period costumes, such as those for medieval and renaissance fairs. The gaps between the rings in a chainmail bracelet offer an easy way to hang dangling charms from the jewelry. Because this will be on your wrist, select delicate dangling charms that won't impede the use of your hand or annoy you during the day.

1
Lay your chainmail bracelet flat on the table. Plan where you want to position the dangles from the bracelet. Position the jump rings in front of where you decide to hang the dangles.
-
2
Use the needle-nosed pliers to pry open the first jump ring. Slip the open end of the ring through the hoop at the top of the first dangle charm. Pass the still open jump ring through a gap in the chainmail until it comes back out the other side. Spin the jump ring until the opening is back facing you. Use the pliers to clamp the jump ring closed.
