How to Run the Launcher on Android
Devices that run the Android operating system use a launcher as a quick way for users to start applications. The launcher is often called the "Home Screen." When you run the launcher, you will see shortcuts to apps. Tap any shortcut to launch the corresponding app.

Press the Android device's "Power" button.

Slide the lock to the unlock position. On phones, slide the locked icon to the right. On tablets slide the lock icon in any direction toward the outside of the lock circle on the screen. You will see the launcher.
