How to Attach an Egg Crate to Cardboard
Egg crates and cardboard go together more often than you might think. You can use them to create animal designs for children's crafts projects or you can even use them to sound proof a room on the cheap. Both cardboard and egg crates are easy to come by and inexpensive. And, since both materials are relatively lightweight, they can be attached to one another without any hassle.

1
Separate the cups from the egg crate by using your scissors to cut them out. The amount of cups you'll need to cut out depends on the type of project you are doing. For example, if you are going to make animals or insects, you may want all individual cups. If you are going to sound proof a room, you'll simply want to separate the two halves of the egg crate.

2
Place the individual cups or whole crates in the position you would like over the cardboard.

3
Use hobby glue or double-sided tape on the rims of the cups to secure them to the cardboard.
-
4
Use a staple gun to staple the rims of whole crates to the cardboard.
