How to Remove the Water Saver From a Kohler Kitchen Faucet

1
Wrap electrical tape or cloth around the heads of the pliers to avoid scratching the faucet. Do not attempt this repair without taping the pliers; you'll gouge and scratch the finish.
-
2
Grip the bottom portion of the end of your faucet spout right at the mouth of the spout, with the pliers. This is where the aerator is located.
-
-
3
Turn the pliers counterclockwise to unscrew the aerator. Completely un-thread the aerator and remove it from the spout.
-
4
Replace the aerator with a higher flow rate aerator from the hardware store. Size the aerator to your existing one by bringing the aerator with you, if necessary. Thread the new aerator onto the spout and tighten it by turning the aerator clockwise.
