1
Cut a rectangular shape out of a piece of cardboard. Cut the rectangle 2 inches wide by 3 inches long.
-
2
Cut a piece of satin cloth 4 inches wide by 5 inches long. Wrap the satin around the cardboard, gluing it in place on one side. Glue a 2-inch-wide comb lengthwise to the middle of the same side, then turn the headpiece over.

3
Cut white ostrich feathers into six 3-inch-long pieces, six 2-inch-long pieces and three 1-inch-long pieces.
-
4
Glue one of the longer pieces of ostrich feathers to each of the longer edges of the headpiece. Glue it perpendicularly to the edge of the headpiece. One edge of the feather will hang off the headpiece while the other edge will face toward the middle. Glue a row of rhinestones along the middle of the feather.
-
5
Glue one of the medium-size pieces to the shorter edges of the headpiece as you did in the previous step. Glue a line of rhinestones to the middle of the feather. Repeat this process with the medium-size feathers, overlapping them next to the larger feathers and gluing rhinestones down the middle of each feather.

6
Glue the three shortest feathers in a circle in the middle of the headpiece. Glue a cluster of rhinestones in the middle of the headpiece.
