The Fastest Way to Delevel in "Demon's Souls"
One of the main gameplay features of "Demon's Souls," an action role-playing game for the PlayStation 3, is that you can choose how you want to level your character. Each time a statistic, such as strength or vitality, is raised, your character gains an additional soul level. However, you may find that you have placed your points into the wrong categories, severely weakening your character. The process of deleveling your character involves purposely killing off your character in a way that causes his soul level to decrease, allowing you to redistribute your points. The fastest way to delevel is by using a Black Eye Stone, which you obtain the first time you kill a Black Phantom.

It is impossible to decrease your vitality statistic. You must have a Wi-Fi connection to become a Black Phantom.
