How to Repair Band Couplings
Band couplings are adjustable metal clamps that suit a wide array of applications. They are commonly used for pumps, filters, engines and exhaust systems. Band couplings have a lever that flips back into a locked position, as well as a screw that can be tightened at the end with a screwdriver. If the coupling lever gets jammed, it can be repaired before simply tossing it out and replacing it with a new one. Repairing the band coupling will take a few minutes. Does this Spark an idea?
