A traditional wedding reception often includes the use of a head table for the bridal party to sit during the reception. Often at the front of the room in visible view, the head table can be decorated to be extremely visually appealing and eye-catching. If you are planning on having a head table at your wedding, particularly if using an unattractive banquet table, consider decorations such as a table curtain. This is a simple way to add elegance to an otherwise plain table.

  • Table cloth
  • Table curtain
  • Table curtain clips
  • Table decorations

      Place the table cloth on the banquet table. The cloth should hang down over each side of the table at least 1 foot so that the curtain can be secured to it.

      Secure the clips onto the table with the Velcro side facing out to the sides. Place one clip every 12 inches.

      Choose a table curtain that is the correct size for the table. The generally come in sizes that match the size of the banquet table, so when ordering make sure to include whether the table is 6 feet, 8 feet or longer.

      Attach the Velcro side of the table curtain to the Velcro on the table clips. Begin at the back of the table and wrap the curtain all the way around.

      Decorate the top of the table with flowers and other table decorations for an elegant look.
