How to Change the Default Video Player in Snow Leopard
On Mac Snow Leopard, QuickTime is the default player that allows you to play downloaded video; however, you can change this option anytime if you prefer a different player. Digital video players vary in features, performance and display, and are at times only capable of playing videos in certain formats. When you change your default video player, video files will launch with the new player automatically.
