How to Change Your Nickname on Apple Game Center

The Apple Game Center is a built-in application on the iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch.

Apple iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch users can play games with friends by using the Apple Game Center. In order to connect with friends, the user must also know the other person’s Game Center nickname. If you do not like your nickname, you may change it. Changing the nickname on your Apple Game Center merely requires opening your account settings on the device and tapping the correct button.

Instructions

1. Tap the “Game Center” icon on your iPod Touch, iPhone or iPad device.

2. Tap the “Account” button on the main screen. Your email address is listed on this button.

3. Tap “View Account” when asked what you want to do with the account.

4. Scroll down and tap the “Nickname” button under “Game Center Identity.”

5. Type in a new nickname for your Apple Game Center account.

6. Tap “Go” to complete the process of changing your Game Center nickname.
