How to Dissolve Hardened Latex Paint
Latex paint is a commonly used outdoor paint due to its ability to stick to most surfaces without effort. Sometimes, however, the paint may wind up in places you did not intend, due either to errant drips or a careless hand on the brush. Moisten a rag with rubbing alcohol.

Wet the latex paint completely, using the moist rag.

Cover the latex paint with plastic wrap. This will prevent the alcohol from evaporating before it has had a chance to eat into the paint.

Wait until the alcohol has dissolved the paint, and then blot up the resulting mess, using a clean rag.
