How to Make Your Wall Look Like a Movie Theater

Things You'll Need
- Paint
- Crown molding
- Gold paint
- Flat panel television or projector screen
- Wall sconces
- Curtains

Choose the focal wall for your home theater; perhaps the largest wall in the space. Paint the wall in a deep shade of crimson.

Hang decorative crown molding around the top of the wall, just below the ceiling. Paint the molding gold to give the space a classic theater look.

Hang a flat paneled television or a projector screen on the center of the focal wall.

Attach decorative sconces to the wall on either side of the television or projector screen. Use crystal sconces or brushed nickle sconces topped with dark colored shades.

Hang curtains on either side of the television or projector screen. Choose curtains that add to the classic theater look, such as floor-to-ceiling burgundy satin or red velvet drapes. Hang the curtains just below the crown molding.
