How Do I Get Past the First Part on "Nintendogs"?
"Nintendogs" was released in 2005 to huge critical and commercial success. The game has you buying and nurturing a virtual pup. On first buying the game, there are several important steps that you must go through before you and your new pup are ready to play and grow together. These include a visit to the in-game kennel, selecting your pooch and choosing a suitable name for your new four-legged friend.

Go the "Kennel" option on the home screen.

Browse the breeds that are available to buy using your stylus.

Press on the breed you would like to look at.

Press on one of the three puppies that appears to buy it.

Say your new dog's name out loud into the DS's microphone when prompted; do this several times when prompted so your pup learns its new name.

Type in the name of your new puppy when prompted. Press on "Confirm." You are now ready to play with your new pup.
