How to Get the RSS Feed Button on Tumblr to Redirect to the Real RSS
Every Tumblr blog has an RSS feed to which people can subscribe to read your blog's posts in a feed reader. Tumblr allows you to change the location of your RSS feed to a Feedburner account. However, if you do not tell Tumblr that you want to use Feedburner, the RSS button on your blog will not redirect users to the Feedburner feed. In 2011, the method of redirecting your feed changed from the "Customize" menu to the "Settings" menu.

Log into Tumblr. Click the name of the blog that contains the RSS feed you want to redirect.

Click "Settings."

Check the box next to "Redirect This Blog's RSS to a FeedBurner URL."

Enter the Feedburner URL in the text field that appears after checking the box in the previous step.

Click "Save Preferences." The RSS button will redirect to the correct location immediately.
