How to Get Squidward on "SpongeBob: Atlantis SquarePantis" on the DS
“SpongeBob: Atlantis SquarePantis” is a children’s game for the Nintendo DS that is based on a popular episode of the SpongeBob cartoon. When you first start playing this game, you can select from four playable characters; SpongeBob, Sandy, Mr. Krabbs and Patrick. Using these characters you play through the underwater city of Atlantis collecting treasure along the way. If you are good enough at the game, you can unlock Squidward Tentacles as a new playable character.

Begin the Story mode of "SpongeBob: Atlantis Squarepantis" and select from the list of playable characters.

Play through the game until you beat it using one of the four original characters.

Start a new game and you'll find Squidward Tentacles on the list of playable characters for your second play through.

Tips & Warnings
After beating the game, you'll also gain the ability to select varying degrees of difficulty for your next play through. You'll also be able to skip levels using the bus in the game.
