How to Fix Uneven Lips With Makeup

Uneven lips can be evened out with the use of lip liner along with lipstick.

Not everyone has even lips. Some have thinner top lips than bottom, or thinner bottom lips than top. Using lipsticks and lip glosses that bring attention to the lips just draws further attention to uneven lips. Adding the extra help of a lip liner pencil to your makeup routine gives you the ability to even out your lips before applying your lipstick, which will give the illusion of even lips.

Things You'll Need

• Lip liner pencil - your choice of color
• Lip stick - matching your lip liner color
• Tissue

Instructions

1. Outline the thinner of your lips with liner pencil to make it even with the other lip. This will look a little like clown makeup because you will be drawing outside of your normal lip line, but this will be corrected later on.

2. Outline your fuller lip with the pencil along your natural lip line. Inspect the lines so that the lips look even. If they are not even use a tissue to remove the liner and redraw the line.

3. Fill in the lip area now evenly outlined in lip liner with lipstick so that you can't tell that the thinner lip is outlined outside of the actual natural lip line.

4. Wipe away any stray lipstick that made its way outside of the outlined area with a tissue.
