How to Make a Lollipop Wrapper Chain
Recycle used lollipop wrappers into colorful chains for bracelets or necklaces. It's an environmentally friendly craft that creates gifts for family and friends at no cost. The well-folded wrappers make strong, long-lasting chains that you can wear many times. Create chains from combinations of various colors, or collect single-colored wrappers to create a selection of solid-colored chains to match different wardrobe color schemes.
Instructions

1
Cut square lollipop wrappers in half with scissors. You need long rectangular candy wrappers for this craft. Depending on the shape of the lollipop, either use 30 rectangular wrappers as they are, or cut 15 square wrappers in half to make long rectangle shapes.
-
2
Fold the rectangle in half lengthwise.
-
-
3
Open the rectangle shape out again.
-
4
Fold both of the long sides in to the central crease made by the first fold.
-
5
Halve the wrapper lengthwise again in the same direction. Fold it along the first central crease again. This time, however, the wrapper is quartered in width, as the outer long edges are already folded inside.
-
6
Double over the long strip of folded wrapper, pressing hard on the fold to make a crease in the middle.
-
7
Undo the last fold to open the strip back up again.
-
8
Fold each end of the strip in to the middle crease. You have now made one link of the lollipop wrapper chain.
-
9
Repeat Steps Two to Eight with the remaining wrappers.
-
10
Join the V-shaped links together by pushing the two ends of one V shape through the tops of another V shape. The two tops of each V-shaped link will part where the folded strip of wrapper is doubled over. Push the top ends of the next V-shaped link through these gaps. Attach the next link by pushing the ends of the V shape through the tops of the V shape you have just attached. You will end up with a chain that is zig-zagged in appearance.
-
11
Fix the ends of the chain together by opening out the two sides of the last attached V shape. Push these through the bottom of the first V-shaped link in the chain. Fold them back over the link on the inside of the chain and tuck the ends back in through the second-to-last link attached to the chain.

Tips & Warnings
Wash the residue from the lollipop wrappers (and other regularly shaped candy and gum wrappers). Store them in a plastic bag ready for use.
Twenty-five to 30 wrappers makes a bracelet. When you have saved enough wrappers and are confident at your craft, move on to necklace-making projects.
