How to Embed SlideShare Favorites on Web Pages

Slideshare slideshows on your website can give site visitors extra informaton.

Many informative and entertaining slideshows exist. SlideShare, an online media sharing service, allows anyone to post a presentation on the Web and share it with others. As a SlideShare user you can not only view these slideshows but save your favorites in a special section in your account. By copying a tiny piece of HTML code and embedding it on one of your Web pages you can share your favorite SlideShare slideshows with the world.

Instructions

1. Launch a browser and log on to your Slideshare account page.

2. Click the "My Favorites" link on the left side of the page to view your favorites. Click one of the favorites. The slideshow player appears and displays the slideshow.

3. Click the "Embed" button at the top of the player. SlideShare displays a text box containing HTML code. Copy that code using your mouse.

4. Launch an HTML editors or Notepad and open one of your HTML documents.

5. Find the document's body section and paste the code you copied into the body section where you want the slideshow to appear.

6. Save the document and view it in your browser to see the slideshow.

Tips & Warnings

• If you do not have any SlideShare favorites browse through the list of slideshows displayed on the SlideShare home page. You can also search for topics that interest you by typing a search term in the "Search" box at the top of the SlideShare page. While viewing a slideshow click the "Favorite" button that appears above the slideshow player to save the slideshow to your favorites.
