      Purchase a set of rubber pads from your local home improvement store. These pads will have adhesives backings can also be purchased in precut shapes to fit most sofa legs.

      Cut the rubber pads with the scissor to match the size and shape of the sofa legs. Cut each one slightly bigger to ensure the entire leg is placed on the rubber cut-out.

      Remove the adhesive backing from the piece of rubber. Place the rubber onto the sofa leg. The weight of the sofa will be enough to press the adhesive tightly. Repeat with the remaining legs.

Tips & Warnings

  • Placing the sofa on top of an area rug with an antislip pad can also prevent the sofa from sliding across your floor.
