1
Place the dry Lolita wig on a mannequin head or Styrofoam wig form. Avoid placing a wet wig on a mannequin head or Styrofoam wig form to prevent stretching the wig cap. Never comb or brush a wet wig to prevent damaging the hair fibers.

2
Spray a generous amount of detangling spray on the hair portion of the Lolita wig. Use a detangling spray formulated for artificial hair on a synthetic Lolita wig, and use a spray designed for chemically-treated hair on a Lolita wig made with human hair.

3
Gently comb through hair on Lolita wig using a wide tooth comb to remove tangles. Start combing at hair ends and work upwards towards the base of the Lolita wig, until hair is tangle free.
