Hair can become tangled and frizzy if it's not well-moisturized. Long, curly hair is particularly prone to tangles because the hair is porous and doesn't lie flat. Your hair can become frizzy on windy or humid days, or during a thunderstorm. Your hair will tangle and frizz easily if it's not clean. It will also frizz or tangle if you have damaged it with heat from a hair dryer, flat iron or curling iron. Hair products will smooth your hair and protect it from tangles and frizz. Put the hair gel in your hair while it is still damp to weigh down hair that would frizz. Spray the anti-frizz spray around the roots of your hair. Wait for your hair to dry.

Comb your hair away from your forehead and put it in a ponytail if you have long hair. Hold your hair in your left hand and wrap the hair band around it with your right hand. Spray on the hair spray to protect your hair from humidity and wind.

Put coconut oil in your hair twice per week to moisturize it and keep it from tangling. Divide your hair into five even sections. Pour coconut oil on your comb. Comb each section of hair until it's covered in coconut oil. Put on the shower cap. Sleep with the shower cap on and rinse your hair with warm water when you wake up.
