How to Make Bookmarks on the iPad
Safari is a Web browser application installed on your iPad. Safari features the ability to create bookmarks for the websites you visit frequently or any webpage you want to have immediate access to. You can create a new bookmark directly from the Safari application and once you make the bookmarks you can access a bookmarked website with a single touch.

Tap the "Safari" icon on your iPad.

Enter the website you want to bookmark in the search bar and tap the "Go" button.

Tap the Settings icon located at the bottom of the window for the website that you want to bookmark. The Settings icon appears as a box with a right facing arrow inside.

Tap the "Add Bookmark" button.
