How to Clean and Season Porcelain Cast Iron Gas Grill Grates
A porcelain coating protects cast iron and helps prolong the life of gas grill grates. The porcelain grates need to be cleaned carefully because you can chip the coating. If you chip the coating, rust is likely to form on the grates. Seasoning the grates maintains the nonstick surface so that your food does not tear or burn. Regularly cleaning and seasoning the porcelain grates once a month ensures that they remain in good condition. Does this Spark an idea?
