How to Take a Screenshot on the Android Samsung Mesmerize

Go to the screen on the Samsung Mesmerize of which you want to take a screenshot.

Press and hold the "Back" button below the screen. The "Back" button is the left facing arrow.

Push and release the "Power" button on the right side of the phone while continuing to hold the "Back" button. The phone makes a camera shutter sound, indicating the screenshot was taken.

Press the "Home" button, which has a house on it, tap the "Applications" icon and then the "Gallery" icon to access your phone's pictures.

Tap the thumbnail of your screenshot to open the screenshot on your phone.
