How to Delete Facebook Mobile on a BlackBerry

An Internet connection is not needed to delete Facebook Mobile.

If you no longer need the Facebook Mobile app on your BlackBerry, you can delete it from your handset. The app is pre-installed on some of the newer BlackBerry handsets. When it is deleted, your Facebook account is still active. You can still access the account through the BlackBerry's browser or on a computer. After deleting the app, you can reinstall it from the BlackBerry App World installed on your phone.

Instructions

1. Press the “Menu” key on your BlackBerry while viewing the home screen.

2. Click “Options,” and then click “Advanced Options.” Click “Applications” and wait for the list of installed apps to populate on your phone.

3. Highlight “Facebook” and press the “Menu” key. Click “Delete.”

4. Click “Delete” to confirm you want to delete Facebook Mobile from your BlackBerry phone.

5. Wait for the app to be uninstalled. Once it is removed, the icon for it will be removed from your phone's expanded home screen.

Tips & Warnings

• If the icon for the Facebook Mobile app remains after uninstalling it, restart your BlackBerry handset.
