How to Link to YouTube With Feather Beta

You can link to YouTube using “Feather,” a feature running in beta at the time of publication. Feather is designed to serve YouTube videos using the latest HTML5 standards instead of Adobe’s Flash technology. Feather helps reduce bandwidth latency and allows videos to play smoothly, giving the user a viewing experience without interruption.

Instructions

1. Browse to your blog's dashboard and sign in to your administrator account.

2. Create a new blog post and briefly explain why visitors to your site should enable the Feather option on YouTube.

3. Create a hyperlink in your blog post pointing to "http://www.youtube.com/feather_beta".
