How to Reduce Wrinkles in Jeans in the Dryer thumbnail
Avoid leaving jeans in the dryer too long.

Jeans are made of denim, a material composed of tightly woven white and blue yarn. Denim wrinkles easily despite being one of the most durable materials. Many people put their jeans in the dryer and forget about them until the dryer stops. However, there is a better way to dry jeans to ensure that they aren't wrinkled when you take them out of the dryer. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

    • 1

Dry jeans by themselves rather than with other types of clothing.

    • 2

Read the label on the jeans and follow any drying instructions present. Use low heat if you cannot find any instructions.

    • 3

Put a damp washcloth or towel in with the jeans if they are already dry and you just want to remove wrinkles.

    • 4

Don’t overdry your jeans. The longer they stay in the dryer, the more crumpled they get and the more they will shrink.

    • 5

Remove the jeans from the dryer when they are still slightly damp and hang them up to finish drying.
