How to Deodorize a Microfiber Couch
Microfiber couches are durable pieces of furniture that offer comfort as well as fabric that is easy to clean. Even though microfiber is resistant to spills and stains, it can absorb odors. Common odors that you may find on a microfiber couch include pet smells, smoke and pungent food odors. Mix 1 cup each of white vinegar and water in a container.

Dip a cleaning sponge into the container, and wring it out to get rid of the excess moisture.

Sponge the couch with the vinegar and water solution.

Blot the couch dry with a white towel.

Tuck a few fabric sheets under the cushions of the couch to add a fresh scent. Do this after the couch is dry. Replace the sheets as necessary when they lose their scent; the scent should last about a week.

Tips & Warnings
Open a box of baking soda, and place it under the couch to help neutralize odors.
Opening your windows and using fans also help to circulate the air and freshen upholstery.
Leaving a few open bowls of white vinegar in the room is another means of enhancing the odor-neutralizing process.
