Things You'll Need

  • Birkenstock footbed cleaner
  • Lint-free cloth
  • Dish soap
  • Sponge
  • Soft bristle toothbrush

Instructions

      Spray Birkenstock footbed cleaner onto the sandal bed.

      Wipe down the sandal bed with a lint-free cloth, using a circular motion. Continue spraying and wiping until the cloth comes up clean.

      Pour warm water and a dollop of dish soap into a bowl.

      Dip a sponge into the soapy water and wipe down the cork sides of the sandal bed. Use a circular motion.

      Use a soft bristle toothbrush to remove grime and dirt from crevices. Use a circular motion and be extremely gentle with the toothbrush.

      Rinse the bowl and sponge in the sink.

      Wipe the cork sides of the sandal bed with a clean, damp sponge.

Tips & Warnings

  • Condition your Birkenstocks' straps and cork on a regular basis. Cork conditioner will keep the cork sandal beds from disintegrating and leather conditioner will keep the straps soft, flexible and smooth.

  • Use extreme caution to avoid wetting the leather uppers. Dyed leather may bleed.
