How to Get Synopsis Information in WMC
Getting video synopsis information from Windows Media Center can be helpful when viewing videos in your library, especially if you have saved new videos you haven't seen. You can view the synopsis in the "Library" view by clicking "Video Details" or through watching the video, where a new screen will display. The synopsis gives you information such as video release date and title of the movie.

Click "Start," "All Programs" and click "Windows Media Center" to open the media application.

Navigate to "Pictures + Videos" and navigate horizontally to "Video Library." Press "Enter" to launch your video library.

Click "Video" and select the video where you want to retrieve synopsis information.

Right-click the video when it displays to see a context menu on the right side of the video within the "Library." If you are viewing the video, right-click it to see a new window display.
