How to Delete Events From a Google Android Calendar

The Calendar app synchronizes your events online with Google Calendar.

The Calendar app on Android devices shows events from your Google Calendar and other calendars that you’ve configured. You can delete events from the Calendar app using the contextual menu that appears while viewing detailed information about the event. Events you delete from your Android device are deleted from your Google Calendar account and won’t appear in the Google Calendar interface on the Web.

Instructions

1. Tap the “Calendar” icon on your Android device’s home screen to launch the Calendar app.

2. Locate the event you want to delete on your calendar and tap it to view its details.

3. Press the “Menu” button while viewing the event’s details.

4. Tap “Delete Event” in the menu that appears.

5. Tap the “OK” button to confirm.

Tips & Warnings

• If you’re offline while deleting the event the changes won’t synchronize with your Google Calendar online until you go online with your phone.
