How to Glue the Crystal Into Dresses
Crystal beads give a shiny, light-reflecting look to any material you glue them to. They add a touch of glamour and jazz up what might be an otherwise dull outfit. The fact that they can be glued instead of sewn means that you don't need special seamstress skills in order to bedazzle your clothes or accessories. Dresses, in particular, look great with crystals — all you need is a little practice to make sure you know what you are doing before you glamorize your dress.

Put a dot of glue on your scratch fabric place the crystal on it; the larger the crystal, the more glue you will need. You don't want the glue to seep out over the ends of the crystal too much or it will look messy, which is why you are practicing before working on your project.

Place a dot of glue on the fabric you wish to cover in crystals. Press the crystal into it quickly. The glue will begin to dry within a minute or less, so you must work quickly.

Place your next dot of glue and place a crystal into it. If you are moving to anther part of the fabric to place a crystal, allow the glue to begin drying on the last crystal (it will start turning clear instead of white) before doing so. This helps the previous crystals set so they won't fall off.

Place the dress to dry in a place where it won't get interrupted. The glue will be completely clear and blend in with the dress fabric when it is fully dry.

Tips & Warnings
Tweezers can be used to pick up and place the crystals, but be careful not to get any glue onto the crystal. If you do, it could stick to the tweezers instead of the fabric.
Only use fabric glue. Using hot glue or super glue could cause the material to stick to your work surface, since these glues often seep through clothing.
Do not use a glue with an acetone base. Acetone eats through the foil lining on the back of the crystals and can cause them not to stick properly.
