1
Disable the Flash Player Hardware Acceleration if your Ustream playback video is jittery. Right-click anywhere on the video and click “Settings.” Click the “Display” tab to view options for the video's playback. Un-check “Enable Hardware Acceleration” and refresh your page.
-
2
Close all unnecessary applications while broadcasting if the Ustream Producer is experiencing problems or doesn't start. Applications such as Skype, Yahoo! Messenger and AIM can affect the video quality.
-
-
3
Ensure your computer is hard-wired to your modem if your broadcast keeps disconnecting. Plug an Ethernet cable from your computer to your modem. A shared Wi-Fi connection may slow your connection speed.
-
4
Test your Internet connection if you receive a “Disconnected from Server” message. The minimum upload speed needed for a high-quality broadcast is 1 to 1.5 Mbps.
-
5
Check the volume settings in Producer if the audio is not working while broadcasting. Click the “Volume” icon in the lower-right of the screen in Producer and raise the lever. Slide it all the way if necessary.
