How to Attach a Weave Cap
What do you do when you're tired of your hairstyle, but you're not ready to take the plunge and dye it or cut it all off into a new, funky style? Go for a weave, which allows you to sport a daring new do without causing damage to your natural locks. Unlike hair extensions, a weave is glued onto a weave cap in sections of woven hair. Attaching a weave cap properly is key for a long-lasting weave and preventing any glue damage to your natural hair. Does this Spark an idea?

1
Shampoo and condition your hair. Using a thin comb to separate your hair into sections, braid your hair tightly in corn rows going from your forehead to your neck, or in a circular pattern around your head.
-
2
Pull a sheet of plastic wrap around your braided hair. Cover your entire head in plastic wrap. This is essential for keeping the glue from seeping through the weave cap and onto your natural hair.

3
Pull on your weave cap so it fits securely and comfortably on your head. All of your natural hair needs to be covered by the weave cap. Pull the weave cap past the hairline, a smidgin above the tops of your eyebrows.
