Instructions

    • 1

Measure the diameters of the open ends of the toilet paper roll. Cut two circular disk shapes from cardboard that are the same size.

    • 2

Tape one of the cardboard circles securely to the bottom of the toilet paper roll. Drop rice or beans into the open end of the roll until it is about half full.

    • 3

Cover the other open end with the second cardboard disk and tape it securely shut.

    • 4

Cover each side of the enclosed roll with fake fur or fabric so that it is a thick, secure layer. Glue it down. Wrap and glue fabric or fake fur around the rest of the roll to hide its appearance.

    • 5

Shake the maracas and enjoy the music.
