How to Make Tutu Hair Puffs
When you have a child who enjoys wearing fancy hair bows and hair ties, you can spend a lot of money on custom hair accessories if purchased from a children's clothing store or specialty shop. One alternative is to make your own fancy hair accessories using inexpensive materials that can be found at any arts and crafts supply store. This also enables you to create more extravagant hair ties, such as tutu hair puffs.

3
Pull the needle to cinch the tulle rectangle into a tutu-like tulle puff. Knot the thread onto itself to secure the puff in place, then cut off the excess thread with scissors.
-
4
Insert a hot glue stick into a hot glue gun, then plug in the hot glue gun to heat up for five minutes.

5
Squeeze a pea-size dollop of hot glue onto the edge of an elastic hair band and press the tutu puff onto the hot glue dollop. Hold the tutu puff in place for two minutes to allow the hot glue to harden.
