Instructions

    • 1

Cover an entire wall with postcards to create a wallpaper-like effect. Choose a focal wall and hang the postcards side-by-side and above one another so that they cover the entire surface of the wall. Alternatively, hang the postcards with small gaps between them to allow the paint on the wall to show through.

    • 2

Create vertical columns of postcards on the walls. Hang the postcards above one another, from the floor to the ceiling. Hang the postcards so that there are 5- to 6-inch gaps between each column.

    • 3

Hang the postcards in a horizontal row, creating a border-like effect. Hang the postcards side-by-side on the upper portion of the wall, so that the tops of the cards are touching the ceiling. Another option is to hang the postcards side-by-side, along the center of the walls.

    • 4

Set the postcards in picture frames. Display the framed postcards on wall shelves or hang them on a wall in a collage-like arrangement.

    • 5

Display the postcards on a decorative message board. Choose a cork board with a wooden frame for a rustic-style room or an upholstered message board for a traditional room. Hang the message board on a wall and attach the postcards to the board with clear push pins.
