Trimming a Messy Man's Eyebrows
Wild tufts of hair curling out of control above both eyes can leave others wondering whether or not you're growing mustaches on your forehead. If you're cultivating a large unibrow to the point where it appears that one eyebrow is growing out of your face, then shaving above your nose with a razor becomes necessary. You just have to be careful not to shave too far to the right or left. Does this Spark an idea?

Trim or Comb and Clip
-
1
Buy two-headed (eyebrow) trimmers and trim your eyebrows along the tips, cutting the unruly curls away until your eyebrows look like smooth arcs. If trimmers are out of the question, gather a spool brush and some small trimming scissors.
-
2
Lift one eyebrow on its outside edge — near the temple — with the spool brush. The excess curly hairs will stand up above the brush and the rest of the eyebrow (you can also use a comb to achieve this effect.) Trim the hairs down with the scissors. Let the eyebrow down and check your progress. If the hair is still too long, repeat the procedure while applying more pressure with the spool brush and trimming the hair shorter.

-
3
Continue trimming the eyebrow toward the center in the same fashion, while stopping every centimeter or so to check your progress. Backtrack to even out any inconsistencies in hair length. Stop at the end of the eyebrow in the center of your face. Repeat this procedure with the other eyebrow.
Shaving the Unibrow
-
4
Consider how far apart you would like your eyebrows to lie. Draw two vertical lines on your forehead where your eyebrows come together with the eyeliner. This will separate one eyebrow from the other. Check yourself out in the mirror to see if your new eyebrows are either too close together or too far apart. Remove the eyeliner and redraw the lines if necessary.
-
5
Apply lotion or shaving cream to the area between your eyebrows. Wipe off any lotion that lies over the lines separating your eyebrows.
-
6
Shave your unibrow with the razor, being careful not to go over the lines that you drew. Wipe away any excess shaving cream or lotion and shave away any short hairs you might have missed.
-
7
Check to see if your eyebrows are properly aligned. If not, apply more shaving cream and shave away the remaining unwanted portions of your old unibrow. When finished, apply lotion to the newly shaved area between your eyes to avoid razor burn.
