How to Connect a DSi to a PC

Although many users want to know how to connect a DSi to a computer, the Nintendo DSi does not connect to a PC or a Mac. However, you can connect your DSi to the Internet using the built-in Wi-Fi connector on the DSi handheld device. You must be in an area that receives a wireless signal, such as an Internet hotspot or your home Wi-Fi router. Connect to the Internet with a few simple steps and maximize your DSi experience.

Instructions

1. Power on the Nintendo DSi.

2. Press the “Settings” icon, which has the appearance of a wrench.

3. Scroll through the pages until you see the “Internet” settings on Page 3.

4. Press “Connection Settings” and select “None” for Connection 1.

5. Press the “Search for an Access Point” option. All available connection points are displayed.

6. Scroll through and click the desired connection point. Options with an unlocked gold lock do not require a password to access the connection point. The DSi connects to the wireless access point.
