How to Unlock James Potter on "LEGO Harry Potter" for DS

Play through the game until you reach “Chapter 7” of Year Four. Play through the chapter until you reach the second part of the “Wizard Cards” section. You will need a strong character to complete this section of the game.

Open all the chests. Your pet will help you. You will find three potion ingredients.

Have a strong character like Hagrid or Victor Krum push the block with a wizard hat on top of it. A cauldron will appear.

Add the ingredients to the cauldron to make a potion that will allow you to walk through fire.

Climb the ladder in the room. You will see flames. Use the potion to enable your character to walk through the flames unharmed.

Open the chest to earn a Wizard Card. Earning this Wizard Card will unlock James Potter as a playable character in the shop.
