How to Clean Hummel Porcelain

Dust your Hummel figurines regularly with a feather or microfiber duster. This will keep dust from building up on the figurine.

Mix a tablespoon of dish soap in a quart of warm water. Dip a clean cloth in this solution and wipe down your Hummel figurine.

Dip a cotton swab in the soap and water solution and use this to clean crevices and small indentations in your figurine.

Dip a second cloth in clean water and wipe down the figurine to remove all traces of soap.

Do not immerse the Hummel figurine in water. The unglazed portions of the earthenware could absorb water, which could cause paint to fade.
