How to Leech on Utorrent

Utorrent is a popular BitTorrent application available for the Windows and Mac OS X operating systems. BitTorrent is a form of decentralized file sharing across the Internet and relies on users to simultaneously download and upload files to distribute them. The files are downloaded in chunks (or bits), that are seeded back out to other users downloading the same file. The more people seeding the file, the faster other users can download it. Leeching refers to the downloading of a file without seeding it. While this goes against the basic idea of BitTorrent, not all users are comfortable with others downloading files from them. Within the uTorrent application, you can limit the amount of uploading (seeding) to simply leech files.
