Instructions

    • 1

Work a quarter-sized drop of mousse or holding gel into your hair before you dry it, then dry as normal.

    • 2

Separate the top layers your hair into 1/2-inch portions. Tease each portion, one at a time, with a fine-toothed comb. Start the teasing about 3 inches from the root, going in the direction of the root; leave the remainder of the strands smooth.

    • 3

Gather all of your hair together, loosely, in a high ponytail; a bump should naturally form on the top of your head from the teased hair.

    • 4

Smooth your hair so that all of the pieces are gathered in the elastic band. Set your hair with hair spray to help the hump keep its shape.
