How to Get Leftover Wax Off of Your Skin
Waxing at home allows you to save money and time, while putting you in complete control of the waxing experience. After a home waxing, however, you do need to clean up, and you may find that there are stray bits of wax leftover on your skin, particularly on your hands. Clean up any leftover bits of wax immediately to ensure that they do not cling and irritate the skin underneath. Does this Spark an idea?

Soak a soft washcloth in warm water.

Press the washcloth to the leftover wax for several seconds to allow the moisture and the heat to work on the wax.

Wipe away the wax or pull it away gently. If it does not pull away immediately, proceed to the next step.

Fill a bowl with hot water.

Add a splash of lemon juice or a squirt of a gentle liquid soap to the water and mix it in with a spoon. Lemon juice is ideal if you have sensitive skin.

Soak a soft washcloth in the mixture.

Press the washcloth to the leftover wax and allow the heat to work on the wax.

Wipe away the wax.
