How to Make Halloween Trees
A Halloween tree is a simple, homemade decoration that will add a little spookiness to your home. The trees are easy and fun to make, and you can even make your own ornaments to hang on the trees. It's the perfect Halloween craft for children and makes a delightfully creepy addition to your Halloween party or a fun centerpiece for your dining room table. Does this Spark an idea?
Things You'll Need
- Tree branch or branches
- Black spray paint
- Vase or clay pot
- Rocks or black or clear marbles
- Halloween ornaments
- Artificial leaves
- Ribbon
- Artificial spider webbing
- Candies
- Mini plastic pumpkins

Grab one big tree branch with lots of small branches coming off of it, or use several small branches. Spray paint the branches with black spray paint. Let the branches dry.

Fill a vase or terra cotta planter pot with black or clear marbles or craft rocks. Paint the pot or vase with the black spray paint if desired, or leave them as they are.

Stick the branch into the rocks or marbles and arrange it as desired. The rocks should stabilize the branch and keep it standing upright. Add more rocks if necessary.

Decorate the tree. Purchase Halloween ornaments at a craft store, or tie artificial leaves around the branches. Make candy ornaments by using ribbons to tie wrapped candies on to the branches. Spread spider webbing on to the tree or around the base, and hang plastic mini pumpkins with handles from the branches.

Tips & Warnings
Add Halloween themed string lights to the tree if desired.
If using a clay pot, paint Halloween designs on to the pot with acrylic paints.
