How to Do the Third Level in Angry Birds
In Rovio's physics puzzle game "Angry Birds," players join the eponymous band of birds in their war against the green pigs, using a slingshot to launch the birds and topple enemy structures. Defeating the pigs in each level allows players to unlock additional levels and chapters in the game. The third level illustrates the importance of strategy and well-placed attacks, as efficient players can complete the stage in a single turn and earn the highest possible score for the level.

Launch your "Angry Birds" application and tap the yellow "Play" button. Select the first game chapter, entitled "Poached Eggs," and choose the third level on the stage selection screen.

Drag the band on the slingshot backwards and release it to launch the first red bird. Stretch the slingshot band back to its maximum tension and aim for the wooden ball positioned at the top of the hill nearest the slingshot. Aim your bird at the top of the ball to bounce your bird into the smiley face on top of the opposite tower.

Wait for the ball to roll down the hill's right bank and destroy the two green pigs at the base. If the ball misses either pig, launch your second red bird, aiming directly at the remaining pig. Remember that each unused bird earns ten thousand bonus points upon the level's completion. Attempt to complete the level using the minimum possible number of birds to maximize your score.

Press the yellow arrow button in the lower-left corner of the "Level Cleared!" pop-up window to advance to the next stage. Press the circular arrow in the center of the window to restart the level if you wish to attempt a higher score or star rating.
