Instructions

    • 1

Tear off a piece of wax paper larger than your cookie jar lid and lay it on a flat surface.

    • 2

Place the cookie jar lid on top of the wax paper.

    • 3

Trace around the circumference of the lid with a pencil.

    • 4

Cut the wax paper all the way around the circle, leaving an inch or two of space between the traced circle and where you are cutting. You want the wax paper circle to be larger than your jar's lid so that it hangs over the edges all around.

    • 5

Place the wax paper circle on top of your open cookie jar.

    • 6

Close the lid over the wax paper, creating an airtight seal.

Tips & Warnings

  • Layer your cookies between sheets of wax paper in the jar to keep the cookies from sticking together.
