Adding a Sticky Post to a Thesis Feature Box
A "sticky post" is one that remains at the top of the blog posts. This is a useful feature in the event that one post is more popular than others, or you want to continue to display this post at the top and still add new ones. The sticky post will also remain at the top of the feature box. This feature is available for WordPress users that utilize a Thesis Theme. A Thesis Theme is blog template specifically for WordPress. It has become one of the most popular WordPress templates because it is so customizable.

Log into your blogging platform (for instance, WordPress), and access your blog. As of 2011, Thesis Themes were only available for WordPress.

Click on the "Dashboard" and select "Posts" in the Content field.

Find the post that you want to make "sticky" or stay at the top of the blog page.

Find the "Publish" window. Click the "Edit" option next to "Visibility: Public."

Select "Public" and check the box next to "Stick this post to the front page." Click "OK."

Click the "Update Post" button. The post will now stick to the top of the page.

Select "Settings" in the WordPress Dashboard. Click "Reading," and enter the total number of Features to be display in the field next to "Blog pages show at most." Click "Save Changes."

Click "Home Page Display Options" in the Dashboard. Expand "Features & Teasers" in the Home Page Display Options box. Select the number of posts you've decided to display in Features. Click "Save." The sticky posts will display at the top of the blog and Features box, followed by the selected number of recent posts.
