How to Delete Direct Messages From TweetDeck on the iPhone

Developed first as a desktop social networking manager, TweetDeck has since developed a full-featured application for iOS devices that allows you to access all of your social networking accounts with your iPhone. In addition to providing a column for viewing your Twitter feed, the app also allows you to create a column that displays the direct messages you’ve received through Twitter. The Direct Messages column provides an interface for composing, replying and deleting messages.

      Launch TweetDeck on your iPhone.

      Swipe your thumb across the screen to access the Direct Messages column.

      Tap the direct message that you want to delete.

    • 4

      Tap the “Send To” button in the top menu and tap “Delete Direct Message.”

Tips & Warnings

  • Delete the entire direct messages column by pinching the column and tapping the "X" icon.
