How to Design Candy Trees Made From Candy
Create fun, colorful table centerpieces with these cool candy tree decorations. Use candy to create topiary trees of different shapes to brighten the tables at your special occasions. Use candies that are colored to match your decor. This simple craft is a great way to include your children in for decorating for their birthday parties or other functions such as Thanksgiving or Christmas, but you may want to make sure that there are enough candies left over for the topiary.

Roll the poster board into a cone. Make the bottom of the cone smaller for a small tree or wider for a bigger tree. Experiment with size until you find one that fits your table or decorating needs.

Glue the cone in place with the glue gun. Peg the side down so that it stays in place until the glue dries.

Trim the bottom of the cone so that it's straight. Stand it up on your work surface.

Place a small dot of glue onto the back of each candy and stick them onto the cone. Start at the bottom and work your way up. You can make patterns or strips with different colored candies if you have time.

Tips & Warnings
The topiary tree can second as a candy cone hat for a lucky party goer.
Use red, green and white candies to make topiary Christmas trees.
If you want to be able to eat the candy, use a Styrofoam or florist foam cone. Press lollipops--that can be consumed later--into the foam.
Use icing sugar to attach the candies to the cone so that you can eat them later.
